How to make a paper crane

Mrs Lepp has asked me to visit her PC class this Friday to teach them how to make paper cranes for International Day. I found some quite simple instructions that may help with this task. They are found at the following link;

More cubes

Cubes almost complete

I am more than half way to finishing to the cubes needed to create Xavier's mobile- which is lucky since he is due in just over a week! Initially it took me a long time to create each cube, but the construction process has become much easier and I can complete each one in less that an hour now.

Paper chase complete

I have now purchased the paper with which to make Xavier's Sonobe Mobile. The assembled unit, shown on the right, is the first of ten planned for the project.

Sonobe Jewel

I made this Sonobe Jewel from 3 units I had remaining after comleting the two 12-unit modules below. This was a little "gem" I made for Dan.

12 Unit Sonobe Cube

Inspired to create something new for my soon-to-arrive nephew, Xavier I began experimenting with Sonobe Cubes. These are my first attempts using what paper I had.
